The Cijin Wind-power Park

The Cijin Wind-power Park is the first wind-powered recreational area in Kaohsiung City and Taiwan that combines tourism, leisure and environmental friendliness. The park has seven uniquely shaped 3-blade wind turbines, generating enough power to provide the park with four hours of illumination at night. The park has hundreds of coastal plants as well as wide expanses of lawn, so visitors can enjoy nature, have picnics or fly kites. In front of the turbines, there are also viewing platforms and a performance square where artistic events are held.
