The Resources Exhibition Room is on the 4th floor of the visitor center and is a permanent exhibition, the entrance is an illustration of "Shoushan impressions", showcases the resource concept of Shoushan National Nature Park. The showroom is divided into 4 major areas: “The Shallow mountain”, “Shoushan’s geological”, “Shoushan’s History”and “Takao Theater”. Using art, interactive experience, digital audio and video, cultural relics, from different points of view to display portrays Shoushan. The Resources Exhibition Room also has a ladder to top floor Scenic Lookout that provides a glimpse of the Hamasen block, Kaohsiung Port and Qihoushan is in the opposite side. It is a new attraction of the city's beautiful scenery and million harbour views.

The Shallow Mountain
After entering the showroom, the gorgeous art wall of flora and fauna becomes visible, presenting a rich biodiversity of Shoushan in the way of coral reef inlaid light box, and the important role of the National Natural Park as the promotion and guardian of "shallow mountain conservation". Match the shallow mountain ecological situation stage, through the animation performance of the shallow mountain ecology. The landscape and model in the exhibition area is also unique, not only can a glimpse of the mysterious and tall “Thunder gun “(Taiwan Titan Arumthunder), but also Shoushan common birds perched in the exhibition field, visit here, and you may wish to look up or test how much you know.

Shoushan's Geological
Coral reefs are grown in the sea, how can they appear on the mountains? How is coral reefs formed as the main body of the Shoushan ? This area shapes the topographic landscape with FRP material, it shows the unique “Seam of Sky”, Lime Cave and other topography of Shoushan, and illustrates the geological succession of Shoushan via the geological education model. Rugged coral reef limestone landscape, with a variety of small window units to interact, so that adults and children can experience the mystery of Shoushan ecology.
Shoushan's History
Since ancient times, Taiwan's geographical innate occupation of a unique seat, is the intersection of multi-ethnic culture, but also the excellent fishing grounds for the sea people. The Sea Power era is more regarded as a stronghold in Asia, creating a tortuous history of Taiwan, interwoven into a unique multicultural, and the Shoushan, which stands next to the port of Gorge, is the first to be affected. With the concept of time axis, this area presents the course of Shoushan National Natural Park from prehistoric to modern times, hidden in the memory box of the exhibition field, and the artifacts in it quietly tell the stories of various ages, leading you to review the splendour of each historical time.
Takao Theater
With a front and ground projection, paired with the Shoushan National Natural Park terrain model, from the north and south introduces the " Banpingshan ", " Gueishan", "Shoushan" , " Qihoushan" district characteristics. The film is 17 minutes long by inductive playback, in the theatre box enjoys the fun of double projection.
